DESSERT

RUSTIC APPLE AND PEAR PIE
Celebrating the new apple and pear harvest this is an easy pie for the holidays.  Definitely consider serving this with whipped cream spiked with orange liquor or brandy.

FRESH BERRY COBBLER
A cobbler or a crisp can be adapted to all seasons, to any meal of the day and can be served elegantly or with humble comfort.  Even those who do not normally eat desert will seldom turn down a cobbler bubbling from the stone hearth.

APPLE PEAR COBBLER
A cobbler or a crisp can be adapted to all seasons, to any meal of the day and can be served elegantly or with humble comfort.  Even those who do not normally eat desert will seldom turn down a cobbler bubbling from the stone hearth.

BANANA FOSTER
Ok so a flaming dessert in our oven seems a bit redundant but this is not only a very tasty treat but also quite a party pleaser.  It doesn’t take much to get the rum flaming so push it close to the flame and step back so everyone can watch!

BAY LEAF WHIP CREAM
Try this beauty to top off your favorite cobblers and other various dessert items.

MARMALADE NUT ROLLS
As part of a festive brunch, light dessert or for a snack for kids, this recipe is easy and versatile.  Using our pizza dough, you can change the fillings and create your own style.

PEAR AND ORANGE CRISP
We love this dessert emerging hot and bubbling from our ovens.  Whether in a busy restaurant kitchen or in your quieter home oven, it is comforting and perfect for the end of any dinner and for breakfast it’s a real treat.  Substitute summer berries and few people would complain if it were served warm on a hot summer day, in the shade and with minted iced tea and plenty of ice cream.
