Custom Finishes
 Stucco
The stucco mix can be purchase premixed from most building supply or
lumber yards; or can be mixed from 1 part masonry cement, 1 part
regular cement, and 5 parts sand. After the application of at least
one inch of stucco, the oven is rated for a 36 inch clearance to
combustible building materials and can be
decorated to match your design. Minimum
Stucco application is 1"
Traditional stucco mix:
- 1 part masonry cement
- 1 part regular cement
- 5 parts sand
Stucco premix is probably available
at your local lumber yard or building supply.
Stucco Premix
- 1 part premix
- 2 parts sand
This figure depicts the
application of stucco on a Mountain Series Wood Stone oven.
Use no less than one inch of stucco coating to cover all exposed
metal lathing on the oven.
